Thanks for the warm welcome. I checked out your blog; looks like you guys have a good time!
Anyway, I mostly drink English Ales, but have a taste for anything apart from macro lager... Although I plan to include some on my blog soon for the purposes of variety
I have only really been properly 'tasting' beer for a couple of months, but I enjoy it and the community is very friendly
Thanks for the warm welcome. I am a Canadian who does quite a lot of traveling throughout the USA both for work and pleasure, so i tend to seek out a few beer everywhere I go. I started Craft Beer Round Up as a way to talk about some of the places I've been, the places I'm going and aggregate some of the news that is happening in this huge craft beer scene.
For the friend add. I am pretty new to beer blogging and to this site. I watched one of your beer videos I liked it. I am not an expert but just like good beer.

Hey Marcus,
Thanks for the welcome. I've been blogging for 2 years now and I'm really enjoying it. I've been tracking down beeradvocate.com's Top 100 Beers (which has recently changed to Top 250) for most of that time. I live in San Diego, so I'm pretty much surrounded by solid beer. Looking forward to chatting with you and checking out your posts. Cheers!
Thank you for the warm welcome! Looking forward to discovering other beer blogs and sharing opinions on beer, brewing and the industry in general. Here's a little bit about me and why I blog about beer...
I started home brewing while I was in the Coast Guard in the early 1990's. Just two weeks after I left the Coast Guard I began work at a then new microbrewery in downtown Seattle. I have brewed batches of beer from 5 - 1500 gallons and enjoy most styles of beers, however, I lean towards hoppier styles ; ) Currently, I am on a "sabbatical" from professional brewing while raising my kids and attending graduate school. Plus my wife is now active duty Coast Guard, but that is another story!
My blog needs some tuning up, however, for now I am going low budget until I find an economical method to "spice up" the layout and organization. Suggestions welcome!
Let me know of any subjects you deem worthy for a beer blog with a scholarly approach!
Thanks, Marcus. I'm very much a part-time blogger. I generally focus on Japanese beer topics, but I also write about other things. I'm still finding my way around the group. Not sure, but I seem to be the only Japan-based blogger here.
Thank you for getting in touch! I am an avid craft beer fan, homebrewer, and darn good cook. I also like to write and take pictures. I started my blog www.hopsinheels.com to combine these interests. I write about news in the local craft beer scene (New England), develop and share recipes using local craft beer, and will also start wriitng about my adventures in homebrewing. I'd like to promote the female presence in the beer industry!

While away from the brewing industry and attending grad school I came up with the idea to write about the industry from the perspective of a grad student which you can check out here: http://aaronbrodniak.wordpress.com/http://aaronbrodniak.wordpress.com/
