The weather of course took a turn toward the damp on Monday, but since I planned on spending my day inside it didn't change my plans. My first couple of meetings were in the morning at Monarch Mountain Coffee, which reminds me of my favorite coffee shop here in Coeur d'Alene called Calypsos. (I think that Monarch is now my favorite for Sandpoint.) After the meetings I killed a little bit of time by checking my email and people watching. It was still before noon and I didn't want to seem like I have a drinking problem by getting my beer on too early. Laughing Dog opens at 11am and I didn't want to be "that person" waiting outside for them to open the doors (not that being that person is a bad thing). I arrived at the brewery about 11:15 and was pleasantly surprised to see that there were two other people enjoying a before noon beer. (One of them was the Head Brewer having his lunch, but I am still going to count him!)
