What is everyone's Opinion On Guest Blogging?
Do you do it?
would you do it?
do you Do Cross Blogging, {you blog on your friends site, and they blog on yours}
I want to find out peoples opinions on it, I think it is an interesting topic, since we are a group of beer bloggers :)

And if anyone is interested, Drafternoon.com would love to Guest Blog on your site and have you guest blog

I think its a great way to give your visitors a different point of view and style of writing/reviewing - its like a breath of fresh air to have a guest! Anyone interested let me know as well, I have no problem sharing the spotlight on TheBrewClub.com

Comment by Chipper Dave on July 29, 2009 at 8:47pm: I would be willing to try it sometime and also allow someone else to guest blog. I've read about the concept for a while now but have yet to try it. I've done interviews and have been interviewed by other beer blogs as another alternative. The only thing I hesitate doing is allowing someone I might not know well to have varied levels of administrative access to my blog. It certainly would add some fresh points of view for the readership.

Comment by Arfur Daley on July 30, 2009 at 9:08am: I've done guest blogs 3 times this year, including for Shedblog during shedweek! It's a good way of getting the message across to readers who would not usually read your site.

Comment by The Beer Babe on July 30, 2009 at 10:43am: Dave- I have guest blogged on another site, and what I did was write up a post and the blog owner posted it for me. I tend to write stuff that's different than my normal reviews for a guest post - like an article, opinion, or news item - so that its not duplicating content from my blog and that it is something my readers would want to seek out that's different than I usually write. Win-win for both bloggers usually.

I am going to write 4 to 5 articles this weekend, first come first serve to choose
or if you want more control, i can always write a customized article to better fit your blog

it would also be interesting, to do a co-blog article..i don't know how exactly that would work, like for beer reviews it would obviously be a co-review... but for other articles/content...i don't know how that would work, but i am sure it would be interesting
