Publishing professional who got started homebrewing a couple years ago and got the bug. Brewing has shed a lot of light on the processes and ingredients and has provided a better understanding of the commercial craft beer that has become a huge industry recently.
How did you get started as a beer blogger?
Began homebrewing and relying on online homebrew resources. Friends suggested I write a beer blog due to my love of craft beer and brewing.
I am interested in

Just bottled my fist lager attempt, a German Pilsner. Also ran into that buttery smell of diacytl for the first time! Bottled the Pilsner, smelled the butter...

Hey Marcus. 'll be sure to check out your blog.

I started brewing when gifted a little "Mr Beer" kit for Christmas of 2010. By fall of 2010 I had built a mash tun out of an old rectangular cooler and have been all-grain brewing since. Very basic "system", batch sparging, lifting buckets and kettles. No pumps or electronics. My blog entries tend to be about either my current brewing experiences, or craft beer reviews. I'm on the MA/NH border with my wife and kids, so between career and family, I'm lucky if I brew once every 6 weeks or so. Currently still hand bottling, but hoping to step up to kegging and turning my basement fridge into kegerator by drilling for a couple taps off the front door.
