The Magical Pumpkin

Autumn is here! The warm lazy breeze of summer is pushed away by cooler winds that smell of hot chocolate and apple pie. The leaves are turning orange and slowly falling off the branches. Children are once again burying themselves in a pile of dry leaves to scare off the the neighbors. Above all..PUMPKINS are back!! Everything tastes of pumpkin and cinnamon: my beer, coffee-creamer, dessert, side-dishes, and soups. I LOVE autumn..…See More

First Beer Blog ever: "Jack Callaghan's Ale House"

DARN.. If I had known about beer blogging earlier, I would have shared to you the 300+ beers that I have tried in the past several years (although.. compared to those who have tried more than 2,000 beers already, I consider myself an amateur.) Unfortunately, it would be INSANE for me to even try… Continue

Tell us about yourself!
I love cooking, baking, cake-decorating, pungent and moldy cheese, cold hoppy ales in the summer and warm stouts in the winter. I also enjoy travelling, hiking, painting, playing xbox on saturday mornings, and exploring microbreweries.

Favorite Breweries: Lagunitas, Southern Tier, Flying Dog, and Aecht Schlenkerla.

Favorite Styles: Barleywines, IPAs, Smoked or Coffee-Infused Stouts and Porters.
How did you get started as a beer blogger?
I actually just started blogging recently. It began when I started writing reviews in a beer app.

My blog is kinda mixed though. I'm a beer-lover.. at the same time, I am amateur cook in love with Mediterranean and Middle-Eastern flavors (beer and cheese are a few of my favorite ingredients!) I'm also a pastry-chef, a cake-decorator, and an artist. So yes.. I apologize if you find yourself confused while reading my blog.
I am interested in
collaboration, guest posting, meetups, conferences, trading links, helping new bloggers, recieving advice

Hey Paula! Nice to meet ya. Checked out your blog and I'm really excited to see more posts from you. I love beer and I love food but haven't really started to pair them properly until recently, which is why I'm looking forward to reading more from you! That slutty chicken sounds great! Whenever I cook a pot of chili, there's beer in it (usually vienna lager or a dark stout), and I always marinate my steaks in beer, but beyond that...well I drink more than I cook, but when I cook I want to cook with beer and learn what pairs best with this and that so keep it up, keep blogging and teach me something :)
