Does anyone else remember web rings?

Years ago i remember searching for websites pertaining to my favorite TV shows, well I was wondering if anyone would like to start a beer/wine/liquor ring, where we would each have a badge on our blog that links to someone else's blog, this would allow us to get more hits on our sites and help each other boost traffic. How did you get started as a beer blogger?: I found that I had a love of drinking beer and making it as well, then after that I was published with my first article in a newspaper about cellphones and discovered that i could write well. So here I am.
