Hi, my name is Erik and I've been a beer enthusiast for a while now. In college I was the guy drinking a bottle of Chimay Blue surrounded by a sea of keystone light and natty light (not that I judged or didn't have any to be fair). I got a job at a start up company that runs a retail website called WearYourBeer.com which, for me, was a match made in heaven. Not only do I have an awesome work environment and great co-workers but I am also working for a product that I am truly passionate about...it has been incredible so far.
How did you get started as a beer blogger?
As I have been here for only around 2 months I am still learning all of the intricacies of the business. I noticed that our blog, as it stands, is somewhat dry of actual "BEER content" which is something that I have personally set out to fix. As a person with an opinion on pretty much everything, I am planning on adding personal beer reviews, surveys and maybe even product giveaways. I noticed beer bloggers unite while browsing the internet looking for beer blogs and thought that it would be a terrific way to get my feet wet on the whole beer blogging scene. We would be completely open to doing guest posts (like a "Let's hear from the expert" kind of post) with links to other blogs as a way of promoting them too. Thanks for this opportunity, hope to hear from you soon!
