Half Full Bright Ale
I had Bright Ale on tap at Porky's Cafe in Shelton. It's lemony and hoppy but I thought the taste was odd and definitely a little detergent-like; perhaps the combination of lemon and bitter hops. It was a little off putting but drinkable.

Hello, welcome to Beer Bloggers Unite. This is a great site to network with craft beer lovers. I blog with my buddies here: http://beerbloggingbuddies.blogspot.com. We are three in-experienced beer experts. Tell us about yourself.
I am by no means an expert on beer . . . other than the fact that I love it. I typically drink several new-to-me beers a week and I wanted to share my experiences with others . . . so, now I'm blogging about the beers I drink. I specifically like micro and craft brews the best but I'm not a beer snob. I'll try just about anything once.
I love visiting brew pubs and breweries the most to gain the full perspective of the brewer and how a particular beer is made.
My review blog is here but I also have another blog that I use to share my experiences cooking, canning, crafting, gardening and all manner of other stuff . . . mostly cooking and cocktails.
So that is me.
This evening hubby and I will be joining the end of the month party at New England Brewing. I'm looking forward to sampling all of their beers! And then blogging about it, of course!
