Why a social networking site for beer bloggers?

My answer is - Why don't we have one already?

With common goals, common audiences, and opportunities to network, cross promote and share ideas, meet up or join.

My goals for the site are:
To have links to member blogs
To create opportunities for collaboration, cross promotion and interaction
To create a working space to discuss a possible conference for beer bloggers in 2010 or beyond

I do not want to do this alone, but I'm happy to make the first steps. I welcome feedback and criticism and dedicate myself to the pursuit of beer blogger collaboration and networking!

Plate is published in Chicago (one more sign of the vibrancy of the food scene here) for professional chefs nationwide. Even if the September/October issue weren’t entirely devoted to beer cuisine, we’d still say that it is a terrific pub… Continue
